After finishing the SIG MPX build in Escape from Tarkov's Gunsmith Part 12, Mechanic will bestow a devious quest upon you, requesting you to modify an R11 RSASS to match his criteria. All these Gunsmith parts, I mentioned you should save your money and this is specifically why, Mechanic is simply plotting your downfall with this bank-busting quest. However, if you're good at making money and building weapons, this task shouldn't be too difficult.

This task requires all players to reach level 25 before completing, making it quite the task from the previous Gunsmith rank of 23. Again, if you're good at leveling up, this task will come quickly and bless you with the XP reward. Although the XP reward is great, Mechanic only offers players 500 dollars for competing in this task, equating to around 60k roubles, and we both know this task is going to cost you more than 300k roubles, sorry.

What Do You Need to Do for Gunsmith Part 13

Gunsmith Part 13 will require a series of weapon attachments for the R11 RSASS following these criteria:

• 60 Durability
• 26 or greater ergonomics
• 300 or less recoil
• 1,500 or greater sighting range
• 6.7 kg or less in weight
• A silencer

This R11 RSASS requires a high-power scope and silencer, considering the RSASS is optimized for 7.62x51, the silencer is going to be expensive. To purchase the RSASS, you're able to buy it from Peacekeeper loyalty level four after completing the task "Wet Job - Part 5," making it quite difficult for level 25 players to obtain. The R11 RSASS is known to spawn within the marked rooms throughout the game, Customs will most likely prove the easiest location.

How To Complete Gunsmith Part 13

To complete Gunsmith Part 13, modify the R11 RSASS with these attachments:

These weapon attachments are relatively rare due to their resell value, you'll be lucky to find one of these items out of five separate raids. Therefore, it's recommended to save time and buy the attachments outright. Each item doesn't require a high loyalty level except the Vudu scope; go earn some money from scav runs and cough up the money.

Once completing Gunsmith Part 13, you'll be handed these underwhelming rewards:

• +13,600 EXP
• Mechanic Rep +0.02
• 500 Dollars
  • 525 Dollars with Intelligence Center Level 1
  • 575 Dollars with Intelligence Center Level 2
• 2× Corrugated hose
• 2× Pack of nails
• Unlocks purchase of KAC PRS/QDC 7.62x51 sound suppressor at Peacekeeper LL3

Despite spending an astounding amount of money on this task, you walk away a better PMC. Having completed Gunsmith Part 13, you'll be closer to the Kappa container, riches, and a significantly improved level. Focus on getting to the next rank and continue your Gunsmith questline!
