Advice for Hindu/Celtic girl's name - Girl Names

July 2024 · 1 minute read

We are having a baby girl soon and having trouble in coming up with a name with both hindu/sanskrit and celtic origins that works. Big brother [name]Kieran[/name]'s suggestions (which were summarily rejected) so far included [name]Raja[/name] (for a neighbor’s dog) and coffee, would love to hear some new suggestions!
Things we have considered (not always fitting our hindu/celtic criteria) but nothing we’ve both fallen immediately in love with like [name]Kieran[/name]:
[name]Anais[/name]
[name]Ananda[/name]
[name]Anika[/name]
[name]Anya[/name]
[name]Aurora[/name] (unfortunately Disney princess)
[name]Bronwen[/name]
[name]Devin[/name]
[name]Devi[/name]/Devika
[name]Dorothea[/name]
[name]Indira[/name]
[name]Leonora[/name]
[name]Maya[/name]
Raveena
[name]Tara[/name]
Some are just too popular ([name]Devin[/name], [name]Maya[/name], [name]Tara[/name]) and others we just can’t agree on. New suggestions needed!
